Snell Manufacturing proudly announces Crystal Sharpe of American Tool and Die (ATD) as the recipient of the 2024 Annual Safety Spotlight Award. This honor is awarded to one individual whose efforts have significantly elevated workplace safety and well-being across our facilities.
Crystal joined ATD in early 2023 and quickly distinguished herself through her proactive, hands-on approach to creating a safer and healthier workplace. From her first days on the team, she has gone above and beyond in upholding a culture of safety—not just meeting expectations, but consistently exceeding them.
During slower production times, Crystal takes initiative to repaint yellow safety walk lines, inspect and clear fire extinguisher and eyewash station areas, and ensure that all emergency signage remains visible and unobstructed. Her attention to detail ensures that trip hazards are addressed before they become an issue and that high-traffic areas remain clean and safe for everyone.
But her commitment doesn’t stop at safety compliance. Crystal also helps maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break areas, and the cafeteria, contributing to a healthier environment for both employees and guests. Her efforts minimize exposure to bacteria, viruses, and mold, creating a space that reflects care, discipline, and pride.
